Assessment Process

At CITC, we conduct various psychoeducational assessments for children ages 6+, adolescents and adults for identification of: Learning Disabilities, ADHD Giftedness and workplace accommodations. Assessments will be conducted by one of our experienced, registered psychologists and typically involve 4-5 separate appointments. These include:

    • An initial intake meeting with parents and child/teen
    • 2-3 separate assessment sessions with the child/teen (each approx. 2 hours in length)
    • A final feedback meeting with parents (and child/teen if appropriate)

A written report detailing assessment findings and recommendations will be provided following the final feedback meeting.

The entire process (from intake to final report) typically takes 2-5 weeks and costs between $3000-$3800 (can be paid in installments) which will depend on the depth of the assessment. These details will be discussed and agreed upon between you and your psychologist after the first appointment.
